The movie will be directed by RS Vimal who made his directorial debut through the acclaimed Malayalam film Ennu Ninte Moideen starring Prithviraj and Parvathi in the lead roles.
A new production company called the United Film Kingdom, New York has announced its magnum-opus titled “Mahavir Karna” starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. The movie will be directed by RS Vimal who made his directorial debut through the acclaimed Malayalam film Ennu Ninte Moideen starring Prithviraj and Parvathi in the lead roles.
“This mega multilingual primarily shot in Hindi boasts a casting coup of sorts with the best talents from across India, to be announced in the coming weeks. RS Vimal will don the director’s cap with the crème de la crème of technicians, joining hands with him from across the globe. The 300 cr film slated for release in December 2019 will go on the floors in October this year,” read a statement from the team.
Vikram is currently busy with the shooting of Saamy Square in Tirunelveli. The movie directed by Hari is a sequel to 2003 cop film Saamy which starred Vikram and Trisha as leads. The sequel Saamy Square also has Trisha as one of the female leads, apart from Keerthy Suresh who plays the main heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film, which is slated to hit screens on June 14th for Ramzan weekend.
Vikram is also awaiting the release of Sketch directed by Vaalu fame director Vijay Chander on January 12th. The movie has him paired opposite Tamannaah Bhatia and will lock horns with Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Kootam directed by Vignesh Shivan.
