The teaser of Anushka Sharma‘s highly-anticipated supernatural thriller Pari is finally out and we must say its damn impressive. The bubbly actress, who is portraying the character of a witch gives you goosebumps with her spine-chilling look. Pari is Anushka Sharma’s third film as a producer after NH10 and Phillauri. On signing the film, Anushka had earlier said in a statement: “‘Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in the vision of the director as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment.” The 19 seconds long teaser begins with a closeup shot of the actress, looking pretty normal – her usual beautiful self. But with every progressing second, her face starts to transform. Blood smears appear on her face, her eyes start gushing blood, flesh-deep cuts crawl out of her skin and she basically turns into your worst nightmare. That is not the Anushka we love! But well, Pari might be the new Anushka we fall in love with.

Then, the title comes on the screen, while a spooky tune plays in the background – Pari. Ironically the tagline of the film is “Not a fairy tale”! Yes, she might be called Pari in the film but she is far from the image that we associate fairies on-screen with. Watch the super creepy teaser below!

She further said, “At Clean Slate, our endeavour is to tell stories that are not only meaningful and different but also push the boundaries.” Directed by debutant filmmaker, Prosit Roy also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, of Kahaani fame. Pari is reportedly shot in Mumbai and Kolkata. The film will hit the screens on March 2 and will clash with Hate Story 4 starring Urvashi Rautela and Karan Wahi.

On the professional front, the actress will be also be seen in Sui – Dhaaga: Made in India opposite Varun Dhawan. The film is directed by Sharat Katariya of Dum Laga Ke Haisha fame and will hit the screens during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend. Post that, Anushka Sharma will also be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero which features Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in key roles. SRK is portraying the character of a vertically-challenged person and the film is expected to be high on VFX. The film will hit the screens on December 21 during the Christmas weekend.
