On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Madhuri Dixit has unveiled the first look of her film, Bucket List. The film is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar. It is a slice of life film in the same genre as Tumhari Sulu and English Vinglish. The actress looks lovely in a pastel green saree and printed blouse. The words housewife, friend and mother is written on it. The actress was last seen in films like Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang. The actress is also producing another Marathi film. Her decision to venture into Marathi films was announced few months before.

In a statement to the media, the actress said, “It is a story of every household yet it has a silver lining. It not only gives you hope and inspiration but also encourages you to live life in the true sense. The most fascinating factor for me to choose it is that it is going to carve a niche in everyone’s heart.” Madhuri is also producing a film directed by Swapnaneel Jayakar. “Marathi cinema is evolving so beautifully and seeing such incredible stories being told makes me beam with pride. I have received a number of scripts over the years since doing a Marathi film was always something I was open to. But the scripts didn’t excite me as this one did,” she stated.
