Bigg Boss 11 wrapped up last weekend as Shilpa Shinde won the trophy. While her fans can’t be any happier, host Salman Khan‘s legion of fans were upset with the fact that they won’t get to see the superstar on their TV screens every weekend till the time another season of Bigg Boss goes on-air after the second half of this year. Well, we have some good news for those set of people. We won’t have to wait till October to see Salman on the TV screens again as the next season of his another reality show, 10 Ka Dum is all set to go on-air very soon. The game show, which marked Salman’s debut on TV became an instant hit from the time it started in 2008. So much that there was a second season too, which went on-air in 2009.
After that Salman was got on-board for Bigg Boss from its fourth season, which aired its first episode in 2010. Call it Salman’s midas touch, the high voltage reality show attained a new level of popularity after that, and Salman just stuck to it and chose not to take up any other project on TV. But after eight years, the makers of 10 Ka Dum have finally managed to convince the superstar to return as the host of their show.
Taking about the third season of 10 Ka Dum, according to a report in DNA, Salman will shoot for the promo in February and the show will go in air either in June or July. The same report also states that this time, the show will have a second screen. Basically, the viewers at home can play the game along with the contestants in the studio and win prizes. The same concept was tried on Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati season nine, and it worked for the channel. Hence they want to replicate this for 10 Ka Dum in order to make it more interactive this year.
