Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli look timeless as they choose indigo and grey for their Mumbai reception

After a grand reception held in Delhi, they are now in Mumbai to host another party for their friends.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli threw us the surprise of the year by getting married in Italy. While the media and fans were only speculating, the two flew down and tied the knot amidst their near and dear ones, away from all the prying eyes. A whirlwind honeymoon in Finland later, the newlyweds are ready to face the world. And after a grand reception held in Delhi, they are now in Mumbai to host another party for their friends.

And boy oh boy, do they look regal in their latest outing. Earlier today, we spotted Virushka, dressed in their casual best, as they made their way to the reception venue. Virat and Anushka have again chosen Sabyasachi for their ensembles. Describing their attires, the designer wrote, “For their Mumbai reception, Anushka wanted to wear old world glamour. And we decided to jazz it up in smoky grey. Hand beaten silver thread, textured sequins and cut organza flowers were assembled on an embroidered tulle base to create an ethereal lehenga. Award winning craftsmen from Lucknow rendered her stunning dupatta which was clinched on the waist with our Bengal tiger belt. Anushka’s look was accessorised with a necklace and earrings hand crafted with rose cut diamonds, solitaires, briolettes and Japanese baroque pearls.” Describing Virat’s look for the evening, he wrote, “Virat wore an indigo navy bandhgala with hand crafted vintage gold buttons and an ivory wool and silk blend Jodhpuri trouser.” anushka sharma in sabyasachi and virat in Raghavendra ..Check out pictures from the venue right here…
