Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan begin shooting for Race 3 with a little celebration on the set.
Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan had a jhakaasbirthday on the sets of Race 3. The cast and crew has finally started shooting for the film and what’s better than to start with a tiny celebration. Adding to the birthday celebrations, the crew also celebrated Christmas before they begin shooting. Anil took to Twitter to announce the birthday celebrations that the makers planned for them and even shared a picture with the other birthday boy. He wrote, “Who says an on-set birthday has to be boring?! My Birthday was made extra special by the @SKFonline & @tipsofficial teams! Thank you all for your love & wishes!”
Anil Kapoor turned 61 recently and Salman will turn 52 tomorrow. Well, looking at Kapoor’s enthusiasm for life, work and everything else, age is just a number for him. He has been a part of the Race franchise since the beginning and has managed to make us laugh, surprise us throughout. Salman is the new addition to the franchise and fans are hoping it’s a blockbuster. Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai, which released on 22nd December 2017, is already minting money at the box office and how. Salman surely has a lot of reasons to celebrate along with his birthday since the audience loved TZH.

Race 3 will be directed by Remo D’Souza and has Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah starring in it. Anil just finished shooting for Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. Trade experts are predicting that TZH will break Golmaal 4’s records and it might even do it.
Speaking about Anil’s role in Race, a source told a leading daily, “Anil had played Robert D’Costa aka RD, a private detective, who acts stupid but is very sharp, resourceful and quick. Anil’s character was liked immensely by the audience. The first movie had Sameera Reddy playing his assistant, while the second film saw Ameesha Patel in the role. If Anil comes on board, he will be the only cast member to be a part of all three films of the Race series.
