Randhir Kapoor on Karisma Kapoor-Sandeep Toshniwal’s relationship: If she wants to get married, then she has my blessings

If rumours are to be believed, Karisma Kapoor will soon tie the knot with her alleged boyfriend Sandeep Toshnival. After the news broke about the latter’s divorce coming through, last Monday, tongues have been wagging about the affair. Karisma, who has two children with ex-husband, has been spotted with Sandeep at several occasions. So, weighing in on her marriage plans, her father Randhir Kapoor has something to say. Like a progressive dad, that one should be, Randhir finds no problem with how her daughter wants to lead her life. “If she wants to get married, then she has my blessings. She is young and must be seeing him [Sandeep], I don’t know. I also see their photographs,” the veteran actor was quoted by a news daily. The actor was addressing the rumours of Karisma getting married. He also added that if her children are okay with it, she will have his full support.

Randhir loves his daughters karisma and Kareena Kapoor to the moon and back. In an interview, earlier, he has joked about wanting to be adopted by them. He had said, “My children are settled. In fact, both my daughters are wealthier than I am and I keep asking them to adopt me as their father, so that I can also be rich. I still meet Babita for dinner sometimes, we eat and laugh. That is the way we are.” How cute.  

For those who don’t know, Sandeep and Karisma were introduced to each other via a mutual friend at a party a few years ago. They kept meeting after that and came closer. Eventually, love happened and ever since then they have been together. Now don’t you wish that they make things official soon enough? We, for one, can’t wait to get a confirmation from the couple.
