Friendships and relationships are hard to maintain in a competitive industry like Bollywood. So, when you actually meet someone who can be Jhilmil to your Barfi!, you might as well hold onto that person and never let your bond break. They say, ‘A sweet friendship refreshes your soul’ and lucky are the ones who find such friends in their real lives. While there are many age-old friendships in Bollywood who have stood the test of time and that include SRK-Karan Johar, Kareena-Amrita, there are others who are the latest entrants to this list.  Be it Ranveer-Arjun or Alia-Deepika/Katrina, these new age actors, fortunately value the term called ‘friendship’ and it’s always a delight to see them together.

While we have always heard about competition brewing between Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the Highway actress is otherwise very friendly with the rest of her contemporaries. We heard some crazy stories of Katrina bonding with Alia during the Dream Team tour in the US and how they were the new gym buddies. But guess, Kat is not the only one close to Alia. deepika padukone too, shares the same affection for this Badrinath ki Dulhania actress and we have instances to prove it (Yea, we don’t talk without proofs, right?) In fact, many recent incidences have grabbed our attention and forced us to tag Alia-Deepika as the new BFFs of B-town. Be it their Twitter bonding or the fact that Alia can’t stop gushing about Padmavati beauty and even their recent pictures from Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash, Alia and DP just can’t seem to get enough of each other.

While the other celebs were busy meeting and greeting all the guests at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash in Alibaug, Deepika and Alia preferred each other’s company with their mutual friends. They even returned together from Alibaug in a chopper with Sidharth Malhotra, Karan Johar, and Farah Khan. And trust us when we say, their pictures together are too adorable for words. Don’t say that best friends dress alike? Is that the reason why Alia and DP were twinning in their jeans? The way these two gorgeous ladies posed together in above pictures was enough to prove how great friends they are and why a word like catfight doesn’t exist in their friendship. 

Recently, in an interview, Alia just couldn’t stop praising Deepika for her role as Queen Padmini in Padmavati. She said, “Deepika in Padmavati was just so fabulous and she looked like so fabulous and I know I can never look like that or act like that. She just looks like a Queen.” And DP was sweet enough to thank her for the same on Twitter. We have many friendships go kaput in this industry and we hope theirs is not the one.
