For the longest time there have been rumours about salman khan launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma through his production venture. In fact, more recently there were even speculations around Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan joining Aayush in this debut film. Now although we can’t comment on Sara’s approval for this one considering she’s currently busy shooting for her debut film Kedarnath co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput but we can very much ascertain Aayush is all set to begin shooting for this film in February, 2018. Putting all the speculations to rest, Salman in interaction with Bombay Times finally confirmed, “Yes, we are producing Aayush’s debut film. Shooting will start in February and we’ll release the film later in 2018.” Turns out, this yet-to-be-titled film will be helmed by debutant Abhiraj Minawala (former assistant of director Ali Abbas Zafar), who met Salman during the making of ‘Sultan’. Previously too, Abhiraj has assisted on a number of films of Salman’s production house.

Let’s not forget, Salman was very clear about not launching Aayush until he feels he is completely ready to enter Bollywood. Precisely also the reason why Aayush began his prep up about three years back as he got ringside view of how the industry functions by working closely with Salman during ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tubelight’. Apart from learning acting on the sets, he also underwent training in dance and action. And now that Aayush has finally got ready mentally and physically, he has begun attending workshops for his first film. That’s not all; once the heroine is finalised, talks suggest that there will be another series of workshops with the lead actors, before the film finally goes on floors.
