Here's looking at the movies releasing this week.
The festive of lights is finally here. We are set to make this a crackling Diwali but what this festival extra extra special this year is thalapathy vijay‘s Mersal! After 2.0 moved its release dates from Diwali to Jan, fans were disappointed but it was soon forgotten when it was announced that Vijay’s 62 film would release this Diwali! And here we are, only two days away from the release of one of the biggest Tamil films! While the film’s release in TN is uncertain owing to the protest against the double taxation policy, the excitement around the movie hasn’t dampened in any way. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s 62nd film. The Mersal fever has spread like wildfire:

Star Cast: samantha ruth prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen
Synopsis; The actor will be playing three characters – a chieftain, doctor and a magician. Ecah character will be set in three different time periods. The actor will be also romancing three leading ladies – Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya in each of these time periods. Nothing further about the plot has been revealed.
Why should you watch it: The film marks Vijay and Atlee’s second collaboration. Their last project, Theri was one of Thalapathy’s highest grossers. The director managed to reveal a completely different side to Thalapathy Vijay in Theri. With Vijay playing three different characters, in Mersal, we can’t wiat to find out what which side to Thalapathy will Atlee reveal now.
While the film’s release in TN is not confirmed, advance bookings have begun in full swing elsewhere. Reportedly, the film set to release in 3292 screens worldwide!
