He captioned the selfie as “back to the #moochh can’t wait to get back on set #padmavati” Yep, the actor has not yet wrapped up his ambitious project Padmavati, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also, his ‘mooch’ reminds us more of his Rangoon look than Padmavati…just saying. A few days ago, the makers of the film had to release a statement that the main cast of the film is yet to shoot for important portions of the Padmavati, but the film has not been postponed.
Shahid has been on a special diet and fitness regime to get the desired look for Padmavati. We seriously can’t wait to see how his hard work has shaped up on screen.
Shahid is a huge Bhansali fan, and is loving the fact that he’s working with the director. “It’s an intense, romantic and a very looked-forward-to film for various reasons. I think it’s a labour of love of Bhansali. I had gone mad on Twitter after watching his last film (‘Bajirao Mastani’), appreciating everyone, and didn’t know I’d be part of his next film. It’s awesome to be working with someone whose work I have admired and loved, especially in the recent past. It is a great cast and going to be a huge film. I am really excited, but I want to underplay it, so I am trying to do that right now,” he had said in an interview.
