aishwarya rai bachchan is in the thick of things. The lady is back with fanney khan and it seems like meetings have begun. Well, she was seen with co-star Anil Kapoor at a suburban venue. Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was also present at the venue. The film will go on floors this month and release in April 2008. Actor r madhavan was first approached to be paired with Aishwarya but later he opted out due to date issues. News is that actor Rajkummar Rao who is basking with a superb performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi will romance the beauty queen. The actress seemed happy after meeting Mehra, who was worked with her husband Abhishek Bachchan in Delhi 6.
The lady sported her Pro Kabaddi look while Anil Kapoor was in all black. The presence of the two created quite a stir in the venue with fans requesting them for pictures. Fanney Khan is apparently a father-daughter story and is based on the foreign film Everybody’s Famous. It is directed by Amit Masurkar and co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and KriArj Entertainment. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays a famous singer who is kidnapped by Anil Kapoor in the film. They have done films like Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai in the past.
Mehra described Fanney Khan as a roller coaster ride. The film also stars Divya Dutta in an important role. All eyes will be on this project after Ash’s superb outing with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
