Jagga Jasoos’ new promo describes the Aflatoon protagonist played by Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Jagga Jasoos, a film he feels is better made than even Barfi!, which was his last outing with Anurag Basu. The film, that has been postponed numerous times, is finally going to see the light of the day on July 14. A new promo of the film has been released, and, through it, we take another plunge deeper into the crazy world of Jagga and his antics. The promo is mostly made up of footage that we have already seen in songs and trailers. But a few glimpses are new, and the 45 seconds spent watching the promo are worth it.

With charismatic visuals and Katrina Kaif and Ranbir’s gorgeous faces taking up every inch of the screen, a melodious ditty Aflatoon plays in the background. In a female voice, the song describes Jagga perfectly. We see that Jagga is a crazy character, and has a very likeable quality. Another thing that new promo proves is that the movie is going to be loved by children. Well, Katrina certainly is living her dream with this one. She said in an interview, “I was quite a dreamer as a child, and very musical. I used to love watching musicals (films) and would imagine a lot of stories in my head. I think I used to live in my own wonder world. I had quite an imaginary mind. Probably that is why I become an actress. I was not so much into comic books and all. Rather I used to watch ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘The Sound of Music’. I loved watching them again and again.
