Salman Khan and Sohail Khan from Tubelight in one frame...we are SOLD!
Tubelight will have some really strong, emotional and affable moments between Salman and Sohail Khan who play brothers in the film. Everytime they came on screen, they made us fall for their camaraderie. The kind of adoration Sohail has for his big brother is pretty evident on screen. So obviously we were very kicked about Tubelight and now we got a glimpse of what it will be like to see them play brothers. Salman’s designer Ashley Rebello shared a collage on Instagram. One portion of that collage has Salman and Sohail riding a cycle.
It’s a beauty and that’s all we can say. Salman and Sohail look so happy to be riding this cycle together. There have been news that the film is allegedly based on 2015’s Hollywood film Little Boy. Based against the backdrop of Indo-China war, the film has Salman Khan as a slow-learner who is in search of his brother, an army man. The only difference between the two is that Little Boy had a track between a father and son while Tubelight has the same plot between two brothers – Salman and Sohail. In the original film Pepper (Jakob Salvati)- the little boy gets ruthlessly mocked by his classmates because of his small stature. The film is a pretty harsh depiction of the bullying he suffers. However, the story gets underway when Pepper’s father and chief protector (Michael Rapaport) goes off to war and then is reported missing in action, probably a Japanese prisoner. Pepper then gets desperate to see his father return, and the local priest encourages him to believe that if he has enough faith, he may have the capacity to alter the course of the war; eventually leading to Pepper’s unbelievable mission to find his father against all odds and fears.
