Director Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos is in the making for the longest time. The film has been in news ever since it has been announced and then it was postponed a number of times.
Then, it was confirmed that the film will release on April 7, this year. But, today, we came across a report in a leading tabloid which suggested that the film's release date might be pushed to 2018.
When we contacted the concerned person, our sources close to the film's unit refuted the rumours and said that the film will not be postponed to 2018, but the official release date is yet not confirmed.
Ranbir kapoor is currently working for Sanjay Dutt's biopic and Katrina kaif is now in Austria for shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai. Ranbir and Katrina's troubled relationship has been said to be one of the reasons that director Anurag Basu has to postpone his film Jagga Jasoos again and again.
In an earlier interview, Anurag Basu had said, "Having a real-life couple is not an advantage but it is rather a disadvantage. The actors know each other so well and you are lovers in real-life, it gets difficult for them to bring their chemistry on the screen. So this is going to be very challenging."
Well, it does seem a bit challenging for the director to get the two-actor work for Jagga Jasoos. Just days back, there were reports that the two will promote Jagga Jasoos together.
