Alia Bhatt is a Kareena Kapoor fan is known to everyone! Be it on screen or off screen, Alia has openly professed that she is fangirling over Kareena big time! And now, Alia has given us yet another example that proves she cannot stop gushing over Bebo and wants to walk on her footsteps. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia went on to say how she plans on settling down early in life, and just like her idol – Kareena Kapoor, she would still continue to work. “I want to settle down early in life because I have an advantage of having started off (in career) very early. That way (getting married), I can get done with it and continue (in my career). Also, I don’t want to settle down too late in life because that also has it’s own issues. But honestly, I am not thinking about it or planning as of now.”
She continued, “Earlier we used to say that an actress’ shelf life lasts only until she gets married. But I don’t think that’s true anymore. That has completely changed especially with the way Bebo has gone about her marriage and even her pregnancy. Even after getting married, she did really well in a few tough films. And now, although she delivered a baby a few months back, she is readying to get back to shooting. I think that’s the way it should be for an actor. You shouldn’t stop to acting just because you settle down, and I also don’t plan to go that way.”
On the work front, Ms Bhatt, who gave three back-to-back hits last year with Kapoor & Sons, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi was recently seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film which also starred Varun Dhawan, did exceptionally well at the box office. She is currently on a break and will start working on Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor soon…
