Student of the year trio, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are reportedly set to perform at Justin Bieber's concert in India!
It surely is a bright day for Beliebers! It has been reported that the SOTY (Student of the Year) trio, Alia bhatt ,Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan are all set to be a part of Justin Bieber 's India tour concert! You heard that right. It comes as a pretty good news to fans not just of the Canadian pop star but also of the SOTY co-stars. According to Mid-Day, the trio will come together to stage an act with their famous song Disco Deewane. The company handling affairs of Beiber's India tour have roped in the young celebs as they connect with the younger audience. A source told the tabloid, "White Fox India, promoters of Bieber's World Purpose Tour, have had a word with the actors already, but they are not allowed to talk about it until the terms are finalised. We thought of Varun, Sidharth and Alia since they represent youth. The plan is to make them dance and mimic as well."
If you remember, during a Twitter #AskVarun, Dhawan confirmed that he will be a part of the concert. The Purpose tour, which has left millions of fans in India in a tizzy, is happening on May 10. Varun had a chat session on Twitter with his fans where he revealed about it. Somebody asked him if he will be part of Purpose Tour on May 10 and he replied with a Yes. That s not all. He even said that he wants to watch him live as well. By him, he definitely means Bieber. Ain't that pretty cool? Just as stated, the concert tickets will be out today, February 22, at 12 pm, on Bookmyshow. We had earlier explained to you how you can score early bird tickets for the concert.
Arjun Jain, the man behind bringing JB to India, states, "We have already received confirmation from some of the biggest celebrities in India for the concert and will try to definitely integrate indigenous elements into the event. We are considering bringing Alia, Sidharth and Varun on stage like they did in their first film. However, things are in the planning stage now." There you go. It's gonna be bigger and better! Jain had earlier confirmed the news of Bieber's India visit by saying, Justin has been wanting to come to India for a long time. He will be travelling to Mumbai from Dubai and is expected to be here for at least two days. All those rumours about the tour being cancelled owing to his hefty fees are not true. India is yet to witness a stadium tour of this stature. We chose DY Patil as the venue as it gives a better view of the artiste. Security arrangements are in place, too. Justin will stage an extraordinary show propelled by state-of-the-art production; it will be of a magnitude that the country has not witnessed in a long time.
