Amitabh Bachchan to star in Kabir Khan’s next?

Here comes yet another rumour about Tubelight director Kabir Khan's next. After Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh, he is apparently going to work with Amitabh Bachchan now

Kabir Khan has wrapped up Tubelight’s shoot a few days back and even had a completion bash with salman khan . That has put all the rumours about his apparent differences with the superstar to rest. We then heard that the director could possibly have Hrithik Roshan in his next film but the latest report from Bombay Times suggests, Amitabh Bachchan is going to be a part of his next project.

The daily quoted a source saying, “Modalities are being worked out. An announcement will be made once everything is finalised.” It further added, “The filmmaker has apparently held a couple of meetings with Big B. Seems like discussions have proceeded smoothly so far and Kabir’s pre-production team has already begun planning the project.” It is expected to go on the floors later this year. Now that has made us wonder if it’s the same film Kabir is planning with Hrithik Roshan. If it is, this will be the third time that both the superstars will be part of a film after Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Lakshya. It goes without saying that we are really kicked about this combo. We hope what we are suspecting turns out to true!

Hrithik had confirmed about this project to a daily saying, “Working with Kabir is going to be fantastic. And I feel very assured (working) with Sajid (Nadiadwala).” Kabir on his part added, “Hrithik, Sajid bhai and I have been very eager to work together for a while now. So it’s happening, for sure.” While talking to media, Sajid had also confirmed that his next production venture with Roshan and Kabir Khan is definitely happening and they will make an official announcement once the script is ready. All the more reason to feel AB could be a part of it.

But here’s a catch. There’s also this news about Kabir helming a Ranveer Singh project. Well, this film produced by Phantom Productions is based on India’s cricket World Cup victory in 1983. Our source had informed us, “Ranveer has been approached for Kabir’s cricket film and if all goes well after completing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati the actor might start working on  this project.” AB could very well part of this!

Arghh. too much confusion! Mr. Khan, will you please stand up and clear the air here, although we don’t mind seeing AB in both the films.
