Sanjay Dutt's biopic goes on the floor, Dia Mirza shares a picture from the sets

Rajkumar Hirani has finally started shooting for his next venture, which is a biopic on Bollywood's one of the controversial actors, Sanjay Dutt.

Like Hirani tweeted yesterday (January 14th) about the team starting the shoot, today actress Dia Mirza shared a picture from the sets. The picture has Ranbir Kapoor, writer Abhijat Joshi Hirani, actor Vicky Kaushal and Mirza cutting a cake. The actress captioned it, "The happiest place in the world is on a @RajkumarHirani film set :).

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role, Paresh Rawal has been roped in to play his late father, actor and politician Sunil Dutt, Anushka Sharma will be seen as a journalist in the film and Sonam Kapoor will reportedly portray the women in Dutt's life. However, the actress to play Sanjay Dutt's mom, actress Nargis, is yet to be finalised. Interestingly, the first clap for the shoot was given by none other than Sanjay Dutt.
