Earlier too, Varun had shared his look for this film and informed that he has changed his gym regime to pep up for the role. About the film, Alia had said: While Badrinath Ki Dulhania is also a love story, the setting and characters are different from those in the first movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.
“The film is not a sequel, it’s not a continuation. It’s a franchise. It’s a different story, it has another person and dulhania with a common thread that’s a love story,” Alia added, in an interaction.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is scheduled to hit the theatres, in March, 2017
