Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Total Dhamaal

Ajay Devgn's mega project Tanaaji: The Unsung Hero is in the news for almost a year now. The historical drama has faced a lot of delays due to the hectic schedule of its lead star. Finally, the film has started its pre-production process and is soon expected to go on floors. Reportedly, Ajay Devgn has approached Saif Ali Khan to play the supporting character but the Nawab of Bollywood was quite sceptical about it, as, after Kal Ho Naa Ho, the actor had decided that he'll not do a two-hero project, where he has a weaker role. Though Ajay convinced him to sign the project and assured him that he has a meaty role in the subject.

As per the Deccan Chronicle report, "It took Saif a long time to agree to be a supporting actor. After Kal Ho Naa Ho, he had vowed to never do a two-hero film in which he would have a weaker role. But Ajay has personally assured him that he will have a strong author-backed role." If Saif comes on onboard, this will be his fourth collaboration with Ajay Devgn after Kachche Dhaage, LOC Kargil and Omkara. Reportedly, the Kajol will play Ajay Devgn's wife in the film. The film will be directed by Om Raut, who previously helmed a Marathi film Lokmanya. The film will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 150 crore.

On the professional front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Total Dhamaal, which features the ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjai Mishra and Jaaved Jafferi. The film is directed by Indra Kumar and is set to hit the screens on December 7.
