Even though it is a promotional song, it encapsulates the essence of the movie and showcases the concept of the film.
It wasn’t long ago when we were bowled over by the madness of the trailer of Rakjummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree. The sneak peak promised a fun ride into the world of a village lover-boy who apparently falls in love with a ghost, who eventually haunts a town! Apart from the fact that the film is a foray into the horror-comedy genre which will definitely prove as a crowd-puller, the one-liners and punchy dialogues by actors like Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi are clap-worthy.
In fact, the first song of the album has dropped today and it already has us grooving. Sung by the power-house performer, Mika Singh, the peppy number is further charged with Raj and Shraddha’s electrifying dance. It is composed by Sachin-Jigar and features the entire cast of the film. Director Amar Kaushik told IANS, “The idea of Milegi is to give the audience a peek into what Stree is all about. Even though it is a promotional song, it encapsulates the essence of the movie and showcases the concept of the film.”
Not just that, he even spoke about the experience of shooting and song. “We really enjoyed shooting for the song as it’s a peppy number filled with a lot of ‘masti’ (fun) that got the entire cast grooving to the upbeat tempo. We are sure that the audiences will enjoy watching the song as well as break into a dance whenever the song plays,” he added
