Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi extend their helping hands for the Kerala relief fund
The tragic floods in Kerala has taken the lives of over 370 till now. Like many stars, megastar Chiranjeevi and son Ram Charan have also extended their helping hand by donating Rs 25 lakh each for the relief fund. Even Chiranjeevi’s mother Anjana Devi donated Rs 1 lakh, while Upasana has provided the medical facilities of Rs 10 lakhs.
Earlier south actors like Suriya, Karthi, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salman and Siddharth donated for the flood reliefs. With more helping hands, we expect all the victims to get better treatment and recover as early as possible.
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is curently shooting for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy along with Nayanthara. The film is reported to be a trilingual venture which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore and also features Jagapati Babu, Kiccha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. It will also star the Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo. The film is produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan and is directed by Surender Reddy. The film is expected to hit the screens next year.
