And here it is. The first look at the upcoming sequel of the 2017 DC hit Wonder Woman has been released by director Patty Jenkins and the star of the show, Gal Gadot. A few days ago cryptic images posted by Patty and the producer of the film hinted that the new movie will be titled Wonder Woman 1984. But that image also confirmed that is set during the Cold War instead of World War I like the predecessor. Now, the first stills from this movie on floors has made the internet go crazy. Well, Steve Trevor is back from the dead, as per a picture posted by the director.

Patty posted a picture of Chris Pine fully embracing the fashion of ’84, standing in the middle of a shopping mall. Well, didn’t he die in the first movie? What is this about? Has she been brought back from the dead like Marvel’s Captain America? Or is this a trickery by the new villain, Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig. Yes, we have questions, too, internet! But we will get the answers only when the movie opens in theatres on November 1, 2019.

Also, Gal Gadot posted a still from the movie on her Twitter handle. She is standing in front of the screens that are displaying cryptic, static images. These static images seem to hold some importance this time as the logo of the movie is also static.

Wonder Woman 2 will be iconic in many senses. One is the fact that it will make Patty the highest paid female director in the world. Her remuneration for the sequel has increased to $9 million from $1 million for the first film, as per a report by Variety.
