Bilal is returning in the Big B sequel

mammootty‘s son and popular star in his own right, dulquer salmaan, tweeted the happy news that his father is going to be back with a bang as Bilal in the sequel Big B sequel titled Bilal. Big B was an unofficial remake of the Hollywood film, Four Brothers. The movie starred Tyrese Gibson, Mark Wahlberg, Garrett Hedlund and Andre Benjamin in lead roles.

When the film, Big B, had released in 2007, it did not receive much traction. The movie went on for more than 100 days in Kerala and was booming at the box office, but it was much hyped by the audience once the DVD of the movie had released. The shooting style was unique than what the audience was used to back then. The movie is a reminder of its observable glitz and glossy action choreography.

Dulquer shared the first look of the movie and expressed his enthusiasm on his Twitter account. He tweeted, “He’s coming back !!! #Bilal #BigB #part2 @mammukka #amalneerad ! Yassssssssss !!! #fanboy”

Dulquer himself worked with Amal in the movie CIA – Comrade in America. He even collaborated with him for the short film Kullante Bharya which was a part of the anthology movie 5 Sundarikal. Both son and father have a huge followership and Dulquer’s happiness was shared and applauded by many social media users who appreciated Mammootty’s look from the film.

Director Amal took to his Facebook page to make the announcement and wrote, “Coming soon. Bloody soon.” Amal will return to direct the sequel that will also be produced by him under his banner, Amal Neerad Productions. The film will be released in 2018. Excitement is not just for Malayalam movie buffs but also for others, which include actress Nazriya Nazim.
