The much-awaited trailer of Hichki is finally here
It was in 2014 that we saw Rani Mukerji on the big screen. The film was Mardaani. Next year after the release of the film, in which her performance was highly appreciated, Rani and her producer-director husband, Aditya Chopra welcomed their daughter, Adira. Obviously then films took a backseat for Rani until April this year when she came back on the sets to shoot for her upcoming film, Hichki. Her legion of fans (including us) were quite excited. And now when the trailer of Hichki has finally been dropped upon us today, we just cannot wait for this film to hit the theatres. Yep! The much-awaited trailer of the Siddharth P Malhotra directorial is here, and boy, we can’t be more happy.

The trailer starts with an introduction to Naina Mathur played by the actress. She gets a job at an elite school despite her speech defect, Tourette Syndrome. The lady is assigned the job of teaching some slum kids. Obviously, it takes time for her to win over the students with her persistence. The trailer has a very positive message about education and making it accessible to the underprivileged. The kids are also in great form as troublemakers. Watch it right here:
We still remember what Rani had to say about the film when she read the script. “I was looking for a script that would challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each of us has a weakness that pulls us back. It could be a disability or any condition but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won’t come in the way of achieving our dreams. Hichki is built on this positive premise and I decided to take it up,” said Rani in a press statement. Well, she couldn’t have said it better.
Produced under Yash Raj Films, Hichki is all set to release on February 23, 2018. How did you like the trailer of Hichki? Let us know in the comments below.
